Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for New 60,000 Square Foot Building
in Pottstown, PA
Pottstown,
PA, October 13, 1999 -- Groundbreaking
ceremonies were held here today to begin construction on a new
home for The Easthill Group, Inc. Currently housed in a 28,000
square foot building in Malvern, PA, the company is planning
to relocate in June 2000 to a location at 263 Shoemaker Road
in Pottstown, PA. The Easthill Group's new, more spacious quarters
will encompass 60,000 square feet.
"The
new facility will relieve us of the growing pains and cramped
conditions we currently face", remarked Bruce Passner, Easthill
Group President. "It will allow for the planned growth of all
our operations."
In
attendance at today's ceremony were Pottstown officials Bob
Jones, Dennis Wausnolk and Dale Mahle. Fred Reim, Linda Neiman,
Allen Loeb represented the project's funding bank, Security
National Bank. There was also Greg Bechtel, a Vice President
of Utilicon Construction, along with Curt and Anne Strohacker,
Owners, Wynnestay FLP and The Easthill Group, Inc., and Passner.
The
company plans to employ 150 Associates at the new headquarters,
including executive, administrative, managerial, warehousing,
and call center Associates.
